República Dominicana | re-bientôt-soon Santo Domingo!

Dans la famille « stock des photos qui dorment sur l’ordi depuis perpette », je demande la République Dominicaine! Je ne sais pas trop par où commencer (enfin, en l’occurrence recommencer, puisque j’avais partagé un petit bout de Bani, un mélange de sable et de sel, >> ici << il y a fort fort longtemps…), mais aujourd’hui retour sur Santo Domingo! (avant le vrai retour dans 15 jours youhou!!) Si jamais vous passiez par ce bout d’île incroyable, n’oubliez pas de faire un petit tour par la capitale, de flâner dans le cœur de la zone coloniale, de respirer l’air de la mer des Caraïbes (+ quelques exercices de remise en forme au rythme des vagues!) le long du « malecón », de crapahuter dans les étalages de marchés entre yuca et bananes plantains, de vous rafraîchir dans les bulles de la Presidente achetée au « colmado » du coin et de finir une journée par un match de « beisbol » sport national! Un beau mix de couleurs, de sourires, d’histoire et de culture à ne pas rater!!

In the series of « stock of pictures sleeping for too long on my computer… » here is the Dominican Republic! I’m not sure where to start (actually, restart, as long long ago I shared >> here << a small piece of Bani, a mix of sand and salt…), but today let’s go back to Santo Domingo! (Before going for real in 2 weeks yeaaah!!) If you would ever come to this crazy piece of island, don’t forget to stop in the capital, to stroll in the heart of the « ciudad colonial », to breath the air of Caribbean sea (+ do some fitness exercise to the rythm of the waves!) along the « malecón », to lose yourself in the markets, between yuca and plantain bananas, to refresh yourself with the sparkles of the Presidente bought at the corner in a « colmado », and to end one of your days with a « beisbol » match, the national sport! A great mix of colors, smiles, history and culture, no to be missed!!
